All my life I have been a wanderer. I know nothing about life. I felt that I am no use in this world. Sometimes I wonder why I was born here on earth with nothing. These thoughts was bothering me all the time until I went to College. And there it get worst when I began to explore and see what the material world could offer. Anything I could imagine, vices, pornographic scenes and acts, drugs name it and the material world has it. I asked myself was this my purpose to live in this world? Though, there was enjoyment and laughter that all those things could offer but they are just temporary. There is still something missing in me but I don't know what is it and where to find it. I've been a man of my own will and believe that no one could make me for what I am but myself. I am the master of my own SELF. Nobody or no one could tell me what to do for I am the only one who knows myself. For many years, I lived my life with full of reasoning on what is happening to me. To the point that I learned to turn lies into truth. It seemed for me that as long as I have the reasoning in my mind I can justify anything even if it is a LIE!
I am not that bad guy that doesn't really care for anyone. I do care for my friends and family. My family raised me with a good character, a respectful person but I am just rebellious in my own way. Maybe with the status if life I had. I thought life was UNFAIR. Through these experiences I began to search for the truth. It took me for a while to find answers. Until a very SPECIAL person came into my life and told me about the truth. At first I doubted, reasoning came into my mind. Maybe and maybe this is just one of those group of PEOPLE who claimed to be righteous but aren't. But as I began to hang out and mingle with them I felt HAPPINESS and CONTENTMENT that I never felt before. It was the encounter with a person whom I never thought would dare to do the most humiliating thing to do, HANGING on the CROSS.
Knowing Jesus Christ is the most exciting relationship I can have. It is the beginning of a life of adventure with an all-loving, all-powerful God. After I have sincerely asked Christ to come into my life, I am sure that my relationship with God is secure. As a result of Christ's death on the cross, the only sufficient provision for a relationship with God, that I have been completely forgiven and accepted by Him.
Maybe you are wondering why I accepted Jesus Christ as MY personal SAVIOUR? That is just simple. I will share it with you. Actually there is only 5 good reason:
1. Christ forgave your sins.(Ephesians 1:7)
2. Christ made you a child of God.(John 1:12,13)
3. Christ came into your life and He will never leave you.(Revelation 3:20)
4. Christ gave you new life.(2 Corinthians 5:17)
5. Christ gave you eternal life.(1 John 5:11-13)
SIMPLE isn't it? I know we have different experiences in life and my experience and your experience may not be the same. It might be my experience is worst than your experience or in either way. The good news is JESUS CHRIST loves you and if YOU let HIM come into your life HE will glad to accept you. NICE isn't it? SO think...before its too late to call HIM.
